This photo was taken at Camp Thunderbird at Lake Wylie, S.C., in 1988. The event appears to be a Duke Power Design Engineering festival ("DE FEST"). Who is the child and what does he look like now?

Men at work identified!
Thanks to Van Bryan and Harry Kincaid, who emailed to say this is Edward Young, a draftsman in the Electric Distribution Department at Cincinnati Gas & Electric. The computer was part of the company's first CADD (computer-aided design and drafting)system.
Lisa Arvin reports that Ricky Bass says this is Neil Kahan at the Western Area Control Center, in Canton, N.C. in the 1990s.
