When a hurricane hits, it’s devastating for our customers, and Duke Energy teammates have always come together to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. These storms are also usually what customers remember most about the company. Restoring power after a hurricane is difficult because of flooding, downed trees and power lines and damage to roads and infrastructure.
