Mysteries solved
A number of you helped identify Photo 648, captioned Madison Light & Power Co. building in Madison, Ind. Tom Tate dates the photo circa 1953 based on “the cars visible in the foreground and reflections in windows.” The building is still there, at Main and Mulberry Streets as you can see from Jenny Keeton’s photo below.
Photo 683 has been identified by several readers as Carolina Power & Light employee Marlene Cameron at the Raleigh Customer Service Center in August 1998 during Hurricane Bonnie.
