Water is Wonderful provides environmental education to all 4th graders at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, bringing to life the journey of water from cloud to cup and helping them understand the important role humans play in protecting our natural resources.

Through Water is Wonderful, Discovery Place is creating the next generation of water stewards and industry professionals. Our program aims to change attitudes towards water conservation, build STEM skills they need for future careers, and develop thoughtful habits to ensure safe, clean, and plentiful water for all to enjoy for years to come.
