About 100 people and their furry friends had a pawsome time on a recent sunny Friday at a pet fair at Duke Energy's McGuire Nuclear Station in Huntersville, N.C.
Visitors enjoyed a walk on the nature trail along Lake Norman, which features a dog hydration station. At the fair, held on National Puppy Day, they got tips and treats from vendors, which included a dog bakery, dog portrait artist, pet adoption agencies, groomers and trainers. Best of all: Four dogs were adopted through Lake Norman Humane at the event.
