Coming home to a clean kitchen, vacuumed carpet and dusted blinds is a satisfying feeling. Some researchers have even found that a clean home leads to increased health, productivity and happiness. A messy house, though, could cost you on your energy bill. Simple chores like changing your air filter on time, Energy.gov said, could save up to 15 percent on your energy bill.
