Go paperless
Choose to receive your bill online rather than by mail. You’ll have less clutter on your coffee table, and the system will store up to two years of records. When it’s time to pay, you’ll receive an email reminder from Duke Energy.
Schedule your payments
Once you’ve gone paperless, you can take it one step farther by signing up for automatic bank drafts. No more reminders to log on to pay your energy bill – if you’re signed up, the payment will take care of itself.
Be in-the-know
Coming home to find the power out is never fun. To help reduce those unwelcome surprises, sign up for outage alerts. Once you’re signed up, Duke Energy will send an alert by text, phone or email when your power is out. The alerts will also keep you up-to-date on restoration times and outage causes.
